Gorgeous antique fob, Total weight is 8.15 grams. This was sold to me as being 10k gold at an estate sale. This tests as if it were 9k or 10k, see acid test using 14k acid in last photo. Unknown stone/may be glass. The top line/test shown in the last photo is the top part of the fob which looks to have been added on at a later time to make the fob into a pendant (the grey is whatever metal they used to bond the top part onto the fob). The middle and last line are the side of the fob and the bottom part of the fob, the acid used is 14k acid - so this is testing lower karat than 14, it fully passes the 10k test. I am thinking this is 9k to 10k though I cannot be sure that it is solid gold throughout though usually this test is fairly accurate. Please understand you are buying this as is/as the unknown gold content since I cannot 100% confirm this is solid gold and am unable to have this tested by my jeweler due to a temporary store closure. Measures about an inch including bail.
