These small vases are coated with a glossy transparent glaze to let the properties of the white clay shine through, then finished with hand-painted gold leaf. Brushstrokes and pools are evident in some parts of the gold leaf to emphasise the handcrafted character of the vase. Each bud vase is handcrafted and slightly different from the next - no two are alike. The simple form of the vase is designed to highlight everything it holds.

These vases are approx. 3.5" tall, fits a single bud. The last photo in the list shows a photo of a single vase, quarter-sized.
