It has a glass (not Plexiglas) front. This beautiful frame has an antique look. You can see similar frames in the traditional style that are new and not antique for 200 or more dollars at different web sites. This frame features an ornate little design around the entire frame that is very special,This beautiful frame measures 7.5" by 6” and can hold a photograph that is about 4” by 5.5”. It is in very good condition. The frame stands properly and is easy to take apart and put back together with a pull of the back prop, it is in good working order .
